Bio

I've been finding inspiration in some new and old places these days... been seeking brain candy back in my old stomping grounds. Good old-fashioned fiction. I've been eating it up; movies, tv, books, and a new delight... fanfiction. Specifically, Stargate fanfiction. I have truly enjoyed the hunt; weeding through the muck to discover the gems. It has made me want to write again. And I have. So far I've written two chapters in my latest novel, my very first fanfiction, and even a poem (a bad poem, but hey, I'm branching out). I find myself in new territory, having never really been on my own before. I've always been surrounded by those who cared about me... they've been at my fingertips, so to speak. This new life of mine has taken a while to get used to... I went from my parents' house to the dorms and straight into married life. I've never been in a home where it was just me... it's taken some getting used to. But in the year I've been alone for the first time, I've figured something out. I'm not really alone. I'm still surrounded by people who care about me.. and yes, love me. They just don't live with me anymore. For the first time in a very long time, I can honestly say I'm on my way.
